Link building involves getting other websites to link back to your website and it is one of the factors that Google uses to rank web pages. We have internal links that connect internal pages of your website and external links, which are links from external websites. And in the start, you can only control internal links. When Google sees more number of internal links pointing to a certain page, it sends a signal that the page is of some importance. So try to link all pages on your site to link by atleast one other page.
